Everyone has insecurities. Often times we say things to ourselves that we would never say to our closest friend whom we love and care for. In this video, two women, and best friends, show us just how damaging the thoughts and comment we make about ourself can be.
Best friends, Alyssa and Tiffany, sat down and wrote down all thing negative thoughts and feelings they believe about themselves. Then both women swapped notes and read the comments aloud.
Concluding the session, both friends commented that they were sorry that their friend felt that way about their body and about themselves.
The friends reflected a week later after watching the video. Alyssa made a enlightening comment and stated, "Wow, I am hurting myself so much all of the time". An interesting discovery from the video was that although Alyssa and Tiffany can be so critical to themselves they are nothing but supportive and complimentary to their friend. The moral of the story is this: We would never say (or even think) the negative things we think about ourselves to our best friend. Be A Best Friend To Yourself. Love the skin you're in.
